This is the 40 hour caregiver training that assisted living and memory care communities require before you work with residents. It usually comes with a certificate. Some people complete it without ever hearing it called RCFE.
Don't have one? No worries! A CNA certification is only required for skilled nursing facility placements. If you have medication assistance experience or training, you may still qualify for roles in assisted living and memory care facilities.
